James “Eddie” Wright, a Willis Texas resident, lost both of his arms in Iraq when an insurgent fired a rocket-propelled grenade at him which hit his weapon. Sgt Wright was fitted with prosthetic hands to re-gain his ability to grip and manipulate objects, but he still felt self-conscious about his smile. Dr. Schiro volunteered to help Sgt. Wright improve his smile and used porcelain veneers to give him a smile makeover.
